The Smith Blade Lite has two clip positions, one which requires a specific screw to be used in a specific spot in order to not only ensure the clip is secured, but also that the knife's scales/handles are securely attached. These instructions will show you how to install and know which screws to use in each position.
You will need the Deep Carry Clip for the Smith Blade Lite, a T8 screwdriver, and your Smith Blade lite:
STEP 1: Unscrew the regular belt clip.

STEP 2: Select the correct screws for the each belt clip position. This is the most crucial step.
If you want to use it on the hinge side, you will need to use two short T8 screws included with the belt clip. No extra steps are needed and you can simply screw them on in this position:

However if you want the clip to be on the opposite end of the knife, on the standoff side you will need to use the long screw and a short screw. This is because the standoff that holds the two scales of the handle of the knife together needs to be secured in place as well with the belt clip to ensure safe operation of the knife. The screw position is as follows:

WARNING: Failing to use the long screw in the correct position during the installation of the belt clip in the standoff position will cause the scales of the handle of the Smith Blade Lite to not be secured correctly and may cause severe injuries if the knife is used in this condition.
STEP 3 (Standoff position only): Screw the longer T8 screw on the outer end and ensure it screws into the standoff like this:
STEP 4 (Standoff position only): Screw the shorter screw in the inner end of the belt clip like so:

And that's it! You're all good to go! On the standoff side, the deep carry belt clip is designed to not interfere with the wire stripping holes:
